Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) – Senior School

PCEA Kikuyu High School delivers the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) at the Senior School level (Grade 10) in accordance with guidelines from the Ministry of Education.

The CBC emphasizes mastery of competencies, real-world application of knowledge, innovation, leadership, and ethical responsibility.

The school currently operates both:

  • Grade 10 (CBC – Senior School)
  • Form 3 & Form 4 (8-4-4 phase-out cohort)

8-4-4 Curriculum (Form 3 & Form 4)

Students in this cohort follow the approved secondary school syllabus and prepare for national examinations in accordance with Ministry guidelines.
